Informed consent is an extremely importanat issue during any fertility treatment and especially so during donation cycles. Appropriate consent forms must be completed and signed prior to the start of your treatment cycle. These forms require time and consideration and are provided to you well in advance of your treatment programme.

In ackowledgement of the importance of the consent process, Sims EDE provides you with a specific appointment to perform the final sign off on the relevant forms. Normally, you will meet with one of the nurse donor coordinators who will answer any questions you have about the forms and their completion, then you will meet with your physician to complete the sign off. This appointment can usually be scheduled on the same day as some of your other appointments to avoid an additional visit to Sims.
